Why archery is great for kids:

Besides the fact that it is incredibly fun and satisfying to shoot an arrow at high speed down range, archery has a multitude of mental and physical benefits. Shooting a bow develops discipline, concentration, confidence, coordination and strength. It requires awareness of one's body, mind and surroundings which, in turn, promotes mindfulness, balance and wellbeing. While archery is an individual sport, it is also very social by nature.

Archery is inclusive, and almost anyone can shoot a bow and arrow effectively. The sport does not favour a gender, nor does it favour stronger or more athletic people. It is suitable for both able bodied and disabled individuals. Age is not a big factor either, people can start the sport at any age.
